An article site is just for articles, they often have strict guidelines about what can be put in the articles, but are a way for a struggling author to get published, are often used as indirect or subtle marketing and to impart knowledge on a certain subject.

The topics will cover just about everything you can imagine, and because you can see the author, you can actually further your knowledge if you want by emailing them or something.
